CUTwC cantankerometer, Lent Term 2000

This is an ongoing meter of how cantankerous members of CUTwC are. The results may be used in future variants of Famous Winkers Cards.

You may or may not be pleased to know that there is a new CUTwC trophy for this, which will be presented (my superiors and the benefactor permitting) at the Relle. Please ensure your votes reach me before then.

Following feedback from the last cantankerometer, this time there will be a two-stage process involved.

Nominations are now closed for the Cantankerometer. Anybody you wanted to call cantankerous who's not listed here will have to wait until next term.

Voting is now closed. For future reference, votes should take the form of an email to me with all the names on the list, sorted into order of decreasing cantankerousness (i.e. most cantankerous first). You may only make one vote each, and voters are required to be either nominees or paid-up members of CUTwC. Votes not including the entire list will be rejected; if you don't know someone, rate them randomly, it'll add to the fun. Obviously, you should be rating yourself. Ties are not permitted - the ordering must be strict.

The scoring system has changed from the previous cantankerometer. This time, the first person on your list will score zero, the second one point, the third two, and so on; the person with the lowest score by the time voting closes (on March 14^th, the day before the Relle) will be the winner.
