The Fluppet Software Site
This is a collection of software written by me
and available for public use. While I wrote the stuff, I take no
responsibility for any damage caused to persons or equipment while
using this software. That aside, I hope someone finds this useful.
- Base94.tgz
- My BASE94 (uuencode-alike) utility for binary to ASCII conversion,
version 1.4. Base94.tgz is encoded with the Unix 'tar' utility and then
gzipped.
- MineSweep.arc
- My set of minesweeper games for Acorn RISC OS computers (if you don't
have one, this file won't do you any good). The file is archived with
SparkFS, and should be in standard Spark archive form. Please see a
standard Acorn site (e.g.
ftp://micros.hensa.ac.uk/micros/arch/riscos/tools for utilities to
help you decode this file.
- renderspheres.c
- A demonstration program in response to a 3D graphics workshop
in the October 1999 edition of Personal Computer World. The article
made a mention of depth of field by post-processing; this program
demonstrates ray-traced (true) depth of field. It can also attempt to
apply the post-processing effect, but the algorithm there is faulty.
Call it with the single parameter "help" for information on usage.
As default, a file called "spheres.bmp" is produced.
- dofrend.exe
- A win32 compiled executable of the above program (ish).
- CF3
- A program conditioner - my MSc project.
- Timex Datalink
- Some of my work on the Timex Datalink programmable watch.
The above programs date back a bit. I'll be putting some of my
more recent utilities on-line shortly.
